Viewing and using a shared Investor Profile

This article is for users who would like to view or use an Investor Profile that has been shared with them. 

If someone has created an Investor Profile on the Connexian platform, they may be able to share it with you. The owner of the Investor Profile (that is, the person who originally created it) can nominate permissions which control whether you are able view the entity in your profiles list, use this entity for future applications, and/or edit bank account information associated with the entity. 

Once the user has shared the entity profile with you, you will receive an email notification and be able to view the entity in your Profiles list. Follow the instructions below to view the Investor profile that has been shared with you.

NOTE: This feature may not be available across all products. Availability is subject to the fund manager/product managers discretion.

Instructions

  1. Log in or create your account at https://gateway.connexian.com.au/ 
    Note: If you are creating a Connexian account for the first time, you must use the same email address that the notification was sent to informing you that an entity profile has been shared with you. 
  2. From the navigation menu on the left hand side of the screen, select the Profiles tab.
  3. The Investor Profile that has been shared with you will be visible. If you can’t easily see it, you can search for the profile using the search bar in the top right corner of the window. 
  4. Click on the profile to review its details and then select the Sharing tab. 
  5. Under Users with Access you can view who has access to this Investor Profile and review what permissions you have in relation to this entity. If required, you can also click Cancel Sharing to stop sharing the entity.

If you have permission to Create Investment Applications, follow the instructions below if you’d like use this entity for a new application:

  1. Select the product you’d like to invest in and click Start.
  2. From the Investor Type list, select which type of legal entity the profile is. Select Confirm.
  3. Select the profile from the existing profiles list. 
  4. On the Selected Investor Profile page, view the profile’s structure and details and then click Confirm
  5. Continue with your application, entering in the necessary information when required.
