When making an investment you can electronically sign online using a few different options, depending on the fund. This article will cover two of these options: Upload a photo of your signature and Use your mobile phone to sign. For information regarding other signing methods please refer to this article.
Before you begin, make sure that the file you are trying to upload is supported.

Instructions
To use this option, please follow the steps below or watch our how-to video.
- Review the application form you're about to sign. Note that some application forms require signatories to sign in more than one field. If you still need to sign any signature fields this bar will show numbers to indicate your progress (eg if two signatures are required and you've already applied one this bar will show Signature 2/2)
- Click Start in the blue bar when you're ready to sign. This will bring you to the first signature field. From here either click the Sign button in the blue bar or just click on the signature field itself.
- Select either Upload a photo of your signature or Use your mobile phone to sign. Upload a photo of your signature allows you to upload an image stored on your computer. Use your mobile phone to sign allows you to upload an image stored on, or take a photo directly from, your mobile device.
- Upload a photo of your signature: Click the Select button, locate your signature image on your computer, then select Open. Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop an image onto the Select button. If required, you can click and drag the image to reposition your signature or use the slider to zoom in and out. If you want to use a different image click Retake photo, otherwise click Use photo & save signature.
- Use your mobile phone to sign: A link will be texted to the mobile number associated with your account. Click the link in your text to open the signing page within your preferred mobile browser. Select your preferred signature method from the list provided. If prompted for permission (eg camera access if you chose Take a photo) you will need to grant access before continuing. Once you've added your signature you can adjust it, either by tapping and dragging the image to reposition your signature or by using the slider to zoom in and out. If you want to use a different image click Retake photo, otherwise click Use photo & save signature.
- If you need to sign any additional fields click Next in the blue bar to locate the next signature field, then sign by either clicking Sign in the blue bar or by clicking the signature field itself. The signature you added previously will automatically be applied without you needing to upload it again.
- Once you have finished signing the application, review the application form, then click Done at the bottom of the page.
