This article is for investors.

Connexian uses e-sign technology to allow signatories to easily sign applications quickly and securely.

Dependent upon whether you are completing the application or you have been invited via email to sign will determine the steps followed. Review below to determine how to get started.

Each fund manager determines what signing options are available. Signing options include but are not limited to drawing on the screen, uploading a signature or signing a document using a PIN. Note that fund managers are able to choose which of these methods will be available for each product so you may not see all of these options. If you need more detailed instructions on how any of these signing methods work simply click on their name.

Methods of signing Description
Draw  Using either your mouse, trackpad, stylus or finger draw your signature in the box on the screen.
Upload  Upload a digital signature saved locally to your device.
Send to Phone  An SMS will be sent to the phone number connected to your account. Once received, you will be prompted to click the link and either take a picture or choose one from your photo library to apply as your signature.
Sign with Pin A verification code will be sent to the phone number connected with your account. Enter this code to securely sign.

Instructions

If you are completing the application yourself

  1. Open your application if it isn't already open.
    • If you've previously saved this application and need to return to it you can follow these instructions to find it again.
  2. Review the application form you're about to sign.
    • Note that some application forms require signatories to sign in more than one field. If you still need to sign any signature fields this bar will show numbers to indicate your progress (eg if two signatures are required and you've already applied one this bar will show Signature 2/2)
  3. Click Start in the blue bar when you're ready to sign then select the Sign button or just click on the signature field itself.
  4. From the available signing methods, you can select your preferred option. Where there is only one option, you must complete your application using this signing method. Follow the instructions on the screen to sign your document.
  5. If you need to sign any additional fields click Next in the blue bar to locate the next signature field, then sign by either selecting Sign or clicking the signature field itself.
  6. Once you have finished signing and reviewing the application, choose Done at the bottom of the page.

If you have received an email inviting you to sign an application

Depending on the signing options enabled by the fund manager will determine whether you have the option to sign without creating a Connexian Account, or if you will be required to create an account first.

If you have received an email to sign:

  1. Click the link in the email received.
    • Note: If you are able to sign without creating an account, you will be prompted to enter your date of birth and phone number before signing the document. For more on this process, check out this help centre article

  3. Click Start in the blue bar when you're ready to sign. This will bring you to the first signature field. From here either click the Sign button in the blue bar or just click on the signature field itself.
